On motion by Mr. Henkle, Leave was granted to the Committee on Education to re- port a bill to amend an Act to establish and endow an Agri- cultural College in the State of Maryland, passed at its ses- sion, 1856. Mr. Hyland, from the Committee on Corporations, re- ported Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Baltimore and Hampden Passenger Rail Road Company, passed at the January session, 1865, chapter 32, page 43. Which was read the first time. Also, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor, Alder- men and Common Council of Frederick to subscribe to the capital stock of the Frederick and Pennsylvania Line Rail Road Company, and to endorse the bonds of said company. Which was read the second time. Also, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Johns Hop- kins Fire, Marine and Accident Insurance Company of the State of Maryland. Which was read the second time. Mr. Browne, from the Committee on Corporations re- ported Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Worthington Valley and Manchester Rail Road Company.
