1248 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 28,

sioners of Anne Arundel county to subscribe in behalf of said
county, to the capital stock of the Baltimore and Drum Point
Railroad Company, and issue bonds for the same and pro-
vide for their redemption.

The bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed at the
January session, 1868, entitled an Act to amend the 41et
section of the Act of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at the January session, 1864, chapter 29, entitled an
Act to incorporate the Kent County Railroad Company,
passed oa the 8th. day of March, 1856, chapter 148, and to
add four sections thereto, and to appoint four commissioners
in the place of four deceased commissioners.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 6 of chapter 189
of the Laws of Maryland passed January 1867, entitled an
Act to provide by law for taking and perpetuating the evi-
dence of the number of persons held to labor and service in
the State of Maryland and emancipated by the Constitution
adopted in the year 1864, and by whom such persons were so
held, passed March 22d, 1867, and substitute in lieu thereof
the following sections : .

The bill entitled an Act to revive and continue in force the
charter of the Nanticoke Bridge Company.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chapter
385, passed March 20, 1867, entitled an Act to provide for
the payment of pensions to the Maryland soldiers of the war
of 1812, and widows of deceased soldiers of 1812, endorsed
"rejected by yeas and nays for want of a constitutional
majority."

On motion of Mr. Blake,

At 11 1/4 o'clock, P. M. the House adjourned until Monday
morning next at 11 o'clock.
