Mr. Jones presented the remonstrance of A. F. Lantz and
127 others against Sunday cars and repeal of Sunday Law ;

Mr. Hoffhine presented the memorial of Rev. John McCron
and five other ministers of Baltimore city against running of
cars on Sunday ;

Which were read and severally referred to Special Committee
on Sunday Law.

Mr. Neal presented a petition of members of the Methodist
Episcopal Church, in Queen Anne's county, desiring legisla-
tion to enable the members of said church, in said county,
to control their church property;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judi-
ciary.

Mr. Bamford presented the memorial of Robert Lumsden
and 83 others, against running of the Baltimore City Passen-
ger Cars on the Sabbath ;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Sunday
Law.

Mr. Linthicum presented a petition of D. P. Griffith and
seventy-six other citizens of Frederick and Montgomery
counties, praying the passege of an Act authorizing the con-
struction of a railroad from the District of Columbia through
Montgomery, Frederick and Washington counties, to the
Pennsylvania line ;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Corpo-
rations.

Mr. Coleman presented a remonstrance of Wm. W. Kemp,
and 108 others, against Sunday cars, and repeal of " Sunday
Law ;"

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Sunday
Law.

Mr. Whitaker presented the petition of Tobias R. Biddle,
and 170 other citizens of the village of North East and vicin-
ity, praying for the repeal of the act of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed at January session, 1864, chapter 348 ;

Also, a remonstrance of Wm Beaty and eighty-nine other
citizens of the village of North East, Cecil county, Mary-
land, against the repeal of the act of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed January session, 1864, chapter 348, pro-
hibiting the sale of spirituous liquors in said village ;

Also, a petition of the Grand Jurors of Cecil county for the
benifit of the Sheriff of said county ;

Which were read and severally referred to Cecil County
Delegation.

Mr. Neilson presented a petition of 44 citizens of Baltimore
city, against running the cars on Sunday;
