grossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled, an Act to repeal the Act of 1866, chapter
93, relating to a patent for a tract of land in Allegany
county, called St. Barts;

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled, an Act to provide for the running of the
Baltimore City Passenger Railway cars on Sunday, supple-
mentary to an Act to incorporate the Baltimore City Passen-
ger Railway Company, passed February 13th, 1862, chapter
71 ;

Was taken up, Considered and made the order of the
day for Thursday, 7th of February, at one o'clock, P. M.

The bill entitled, an Act to repeal Article 63, Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, relating to Militia, and sections 652 to 770,
both inclusive, of Article four Code of Public Local Laws, re-
lating to Militia in the city of Baltimore, and to re-enact said
Article 63 with amendments ;

Was taken up, considered and made the order of the day
for Tuesday, February 5th.

The bill entitled, an Act to make valid the official acts of
Justice's of the Peace appointed by Governor Bradford, dur-
ing the month of December, 1865, and January, 1866 ;

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled, an Act to repeal sections 8, 12, 13, 14,
15,16, 17,18, and 19, of an Act to incorporate the Maryland
Life Insurance Company of Baltimore, and to re-enact in lieu
thereof sections 8? 12, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 18, as within re-
cited,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled an act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay the claims of Wheewright, Mudge & Co.

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
