The bill was then read a second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
On motion of Mr. Kimmell,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city Senators, to report
a bill to be entitled an Act, to repeal an Act, passed at the
January session of the General Assembly, in the year 1867,
entitled an Act, to repeal the 4th,, 7th, 15th, 16th and 20th
sections of the Fourth Article of the Code of Public Local
Laws, of the city of Baltimore, relative to the qualifications
of electors in said city, and regulating the time for holding
elections for Mayor and members of the City Council, and the
terms of, and the times for entering upon the duties of said
offices, and to re-enact the same with amendments,
Mr. Tome, from the Select Committee, reported a bill en-
titled an Act, to incorporate the Elkton and Delaware Junc-
tion Rail Road Company;
Which was read the first time.
On motion of Mr. Compton,
The Senate took up for consideration the bill entitled an
Act, to amend and re-enact section 268, of Article 93, of Pub-
lic General Laws, relating to Registers of Wills;
Which was read the second time, and
Oh motion of Mr. Compton,
Was read the third time by special order three-fourths con-
curring, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
