Devries and Company, and others, merchants and bankers of
Baltimore, and stockholders of the Baltimore and Ohio Rail
Road Company, praying the General Assembly not to alter
or amend the charter of the Baltimore and Potomac Rail Road

Company,

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of Capt. L. H. Early
and 40 other citizens of Prince George's county, praying the
General Assembly that "governed by a sense of duty to
Southern Maryland, and a consideration for the deep interests
involved, no modification or amendment, may be made in the
charter of the Baltimore and Potomac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Kimmel presented the memorial of John S. Williams
and Bros., and 30 other business firms of Baltimore city,
praying the General Assembly not to alter or amend the
charter of the Baltimore and Potomac Rail Road company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inter-
nal Improvements.

Mr. Henkle presented the memorial of Stephen Beard and
152 citizens of Anne Arundel countys praying the General
Assembly not to alter or amend the charter of the Baltimore
and Potomac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Henkel presented the petition of Hon. John S. Sell-
man and 44 other citizens of Anne Arundel county, praying
the General Assembly not to .alter or amend the charter of
the Baltimore and Potomac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

Mr. Tome presented the petition of R. R. Vandavier, T.
Thompson Freeze and 145 citizens of Havre-de-Grace, Mary-
land, in favor of Harford and Cecil counties Boom Company;

Which was read and referred to the committee already
raised upon that subject.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of D. J. Foley & Co.,
Whitely, Bro. & Co., Freeland Hall & Co., C. Sidney Norris
Co', and 25 large business firms of Baltimore, praying the
General Assembly not to alter or amend the charter of the
Baltimore and Potomac Rail Road Company;

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inter-
nal Improvements.

Mr. Bowie presented the memorial of Coleman aad Rogers
