CHAPTER 44.
AN ACT to repeal Section one hundred and eighty-five of
Article 13, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Har-
ford, County," sub-title "Havre de Grace," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section one hundred and eighty-five of Article 13,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Harford County,"
sub-title "Havre de Grace," be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
185. All hay and straw except hay and straw in bales with
their weight marked on said bales brought into said city for
sale and consumption therein, shall be weighed at said scales;
and if any person so bringing hay and straw therein except
in bales shall neglect to have the same weighed at said scales,
or shall be detected in having stones, rubbish, wood or any-
thing else concealed in his load, or shall in any manner
change the condition of his cart or wagon with a fraudulent
intent, he shall forfeit and pay for each and every such offense
the sum of five dollars upon conviction thereof before any
Justice of the Peace, to be recovered in the manner that small
debts are now recovered.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage .

CHAPTER 45.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter six hundred and fifteen, of the
Acts of eighteen hundred and ninety, entitled an "Act to
amend Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws, en-
titled 'Harford County,' by adding additional sections
thereto."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter six hundred and fifteen, of the Acts of
eighteen hundred and ninety, entitled an "Act to amend
Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled 'Harford
County,' by adding additional sections thereto," be and the
same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
