SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That George W. Albaugh Real Estate and Brokerage
Company of Carroll County, Maryland, be and the same is
hereby authorized and empowered to loan money on, or
when they deem it desirable, to purchase promissory and
negotiable notes, bills obligatory or other evidences of debt.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to legalize the Supplement to the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, containing: the General Laws
passed at the sessions of the General Assembly of 1890,
1892, 1894, 1896 and 1898, as codified, printed and pub-
lished by John Prentiss Poe, and to make the same evi-
dence in the courts of this State, and before all the justices
of the peace of this State, and all public officials of this
State.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Supplement to the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, with the Addenda and Corigenda thereto,
containing the Public General Laws passed at the sessions of
the General Assembly of 1890, 1892, 1894, 1896 and 1898, as cod-
ified, printed and published by John Prentiss Poe, be and the
same is hereby legalized, and shall be deemed and taken in all
the courts of this State, and by all justices of the peace of this
State, and by all public officials of this State, to be evidence
of the Statute Laws of this State, as enacted by the Acts
passed at the said sessions of 1890, 1892, 1894, 1896 and 1898;
provided, that in case of any discrepancy between the said Acts,
as contained in the authorized publications of the Acts of said
several sessions and the said Acts as codified in said supple-
ment, or of any error whatsoever in said supplement in the codi-
fication of said Acts, the said Acts themselves shall be taken
to be the law.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
