odist Protestant Church of Kent Island, and they are hereby
made legal and valid to all intents and purposes, as much so
as if the said trustees had been incorporated before receiving
such deeds and conveyances.

How vacancies
filled in board
of trustees.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That whenever any vacancies
shall occur in the board of trustees, in consequence of death,
removal or resignation or ceasing to be members of said
church or congregation worshiping at their regular place of
worship, said vacancy shall be filled in pursuance to the
discipline of the Methodist Protestant Church, and all elec-
tions of trustees hereafter shall be according to the discipline
of the Methodist Protestant Church.

SEC 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 712.
AN ACT to incorporate the Girdle Electric Railway Com-
pany.

Incorporated.

SECTION 1. De it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Charles Neilson, J. Fred. C. Talbott, Joseph Sand-
man, Julian J. Alexander, Walter R. Townsend, Charles A.
Councilman, Charles C. Harris and Harry F. Aftung, and
such other persons as may hereafter become associated with
them in the manner herein provided, shall be and they are
hereby incorporated and made a body politic and corporate
by the name of the Girdle Electric Railway Company, and by
that name shall have succession, and shall be able to sue and
be sued, plead and be impleaded, and to make and use a com-
mon seal, and the same to alter and renew at pleasure, and
by the above name shall be capible in law of purchasing,
holding, possessing, transferring and selling and conveying
property, real, personal and mixed, for the objects and pur-
poses hereinafter mentioned.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the company hereby incor-
porated shall have power to survey, locate, establish, con-
struct, equip, operate and maintain in Baltimore County, as
hereinafter mentioned, a double-track or single-track railway,
with as many sets of tracks, switches, turn-outs and sidings as
said company shall deem expedient or proper for the trans-
portation and carriage of passengers, produce, stock, freight,
merchandise, parcels and packages in cars drawn or propelled
by electricity in any form or by compressed air, or by any
