290 Charles County Court Proceedings, 1671—1674. Liber E these Indentures have Interchangeably sett theyre handes and Seales [fol. 12] the day and yeare above written Gerrard Browne Signed Sealed and delivered the marke + of Wth possession by livery & Edmond Lindsy seizen by turfe and twigg in the prsence of us Thomas Allanson Edward Price Ignatius Causine doth acknowledge this deed of land unto John Vaudry called St Nicholas This Indenture made the twenty seventh day of Decembr Anno one thousand six hundred and seventy Betweene Ignatius Causine of Charles County in Province of Maryland Gent of the one part and John Vaudry Carpenter of the same County of the other part Wit- nesseth that the Ignatius Causine as well for and in consideracon of a certaine süme of tob and caske in hand pd before the sealeing and delivery hereof by the sd John Vaudry whereof and wherewth the said Ignatius Causine doth acknowledge himselfe satisfyed cotented and pd and thereof and of every part and thereof and of every part & parcell thereof doth acquitt and discharge the said John Vaudry his heyres Executrs and Administrars and every of them by these prsents as aliso for divers other good causes and consideracons him hereunto moveing, Have graunted bargained sold assigned sett over and confirmed and by these prsents doe fully clearely and absolutely grant bargaine sell assigne sett over and confirme unto the said John Vaudry his heyres Executrs Adminis- tratrs and Assignes all the parcell of land called St Nicholas Scituate lyeing and being in Charles County aforemenconed lyeing in the woodes on the west side of a fresh runn of Portobacco begining at a bounded Oake and runing west in bredth the length of one hundred and fifety perches to a bounded Oake bounding on the west wth a lyne drawne North from the sayd Oake for the length [fol. 13] of three hundred and twenty pches to a bounded Oake on the North wth a lyne drawne East, from the end of the former lyne to a bounded Poplar Standing by a fresh runn called St Nicholas fresh on the East a lyne drawne South from the Poplar for the length of three hundred & twenty Perches to a bounded oake tht intersects a paralell lyne drawne from the first bounded Oake on the South wth the sayd paralell lyeing on the backe side of the land formerly layd out for Job Chandler Esq containeing by Estimacon three hundred acres be the same more or lesse, Now in Tenure and occupa- con of him the said Causine or his Assignes As by Patent graunted unto him the sd Causine for the same beareing date the twentyeth day of July one thousand six hundred sixty and fowre, will appeare all and singular wch sd parcell of land together wth all and singular wch sayd buildings Structures or Edifices wtsoever thereunto be- |
