208 Charles County Court Proceedings, 1668—1670.

         Liber D    in Charles County begining at a marked Locust standing on the high
               Cliffs some two Leagues above Caedar point from thence runing
               north by the river side for the lenght of 120 perches to a marked
               white Oake standing on the side of an hill by Sam Cresseys fence
               (belonging formerly to Wm Robinson) from thence runing East
               into the woods for lenght 200 perches to a marked red Oake from
               thence runing south till it intersect Thom: Bakers line & soe downe
               his line to the first bound tree being the land formerly belonging to
               John Nevill decsd & being the one moiety of a pcell of land granted
               by Patten to John Gerbo qt 300 Acres bearing date the 14 of Aprill
               1653 & Assigned to the sd Nevill by the sd Gerbo the 21 of Xbr 1655
               & to Allen & Munn by Wm Nevill sone & heir to the sd Jo: Nevill
               9br 1667 excepting a small pcell of land runing fro the sd locust to a
               spring & from the spring to the sd Bakers line wth all & singular its
               rights members & Appurtenances togethr wth all houses buildings
               Orchards Gardens yards backsids lands tenemts feedings pastures
               woods underwoods ways pfitts Comoditys hereditamts & Apperte-
               nances wtsoever to the sd land or any pte or pcell thereof or in any
               manner of waies Appertaining & also all the estate right title Interest
               use property Claime & Demand wtsoever of him the sd Bennett of
               in & to the same & all deeds writings & evidences touching or Con-
               cerning the prmises or any pte or pcell thereof To have & to hold the
               foresd pcell of land & all & singular othr the prmises wth their & every
               of their rights members Appurtencs wtsoever to him the sd Wardner
               his heirs & Assgs for ever & the sd Bennett doth for himself his
               heirs Exectrs & Admistrs Covent pmise & grant to & wth the sd Tho:
               Wardner his heirs Executrs Admistrs & Assgs tht he the sd Bennet is
               now lawfully & justly possest of a just & due title & Claime in law of
