      Alexander Simpson att the request of Ann Fouke, concerning Liber D
    the division of A parcell of land depending betwixt Mr Job Chandler
    & Mr Simon Oversee deposeth
      Alexander Simpson aged about forty years deposeth, tht att the
    request of Mr Job Chandler he being then a liver in Mr Job Chand-
    lers house, went along wth the Surveyor Genr Mr Robert Clarke
    to marke the Division of a parcell of land, depending betwix Mr Job
    Chandler & Mr Oversee which land they bought of Mr Wm Lewis
    and Containes two thousand Acres more or less & lies upon the East
    side of Portobacco Creek The Division of wch land begins att a
    white Oake standing upon the second branch from the now dwelling
    house of Mrs Ann Fouke, And further this Deponant saith tht he
    hath severall times heard Mr Job Chandler & Mr Simon Oversee
    speaking & discoursing of the Division of the said land depending
    betwixt them And as to the same they were both well satisfied, And
    further saith not.    Alex: Simpson X his mark

                    M Henry Adams
      M James Lendsey                 Hu: Warren

      Elizabeth Bridgets being now 9 yeares old is Judged to serve
    mother Michie till she be eighteen yeares old or tht the old woman
    dye wch shall first happen

      Thomas Bennett acknowledgeth this following Conveyance to
    Tho: Wardner
      This Indenture made the second day of Augt 1669 betwixt Thd:
    Bennet of St Marys County in the Province of Maryland of the one
    pte & Tho: Wardner of the aforesd County & Province on the othr
    pte Witnesseth tht the sd Tho: Bennet as well for & in Consideracon
    of 10000 lb of Tobacco in Cask to him in hand pd by the sd Tho:
    Wardner where the sd Bennett doth acknowledge himself to be
    fully satisfied & throf & thrfrom & of & from every pte & pcell throf
    doe acquit release & discharge the sd Wardner his heirs Executrs &
    Admistrs by these prsents as alsoe for diverse othr Good Causes &
    Consideracons him unto moveing Have given grant'd aliened bar-
    gained sold enfeoffed & Confirmed & by these prsents doe fully
    clearly & absolutly give grant aliene enfeoffe bargaine sell & Con-
    firme unto the sd Wardner his heirs Exectrs Admistrs & Assgs for
    ever all tht pcell of Land lying on the north side of Potomack river
