An Act to Cut of the Entail of a Tract of Land lying in Dorchester
County Called Andertons Point Containing One hundred and
Eight Acres and to Entail in Lieu thereof One hundred and Eleven
Acres of Land lying in the said County being part of a Tract
Called Richardsons Choyce.

Whereas Isaac Nicolls of Dorchester County by his humble Pe-
tition to this Generall Assembly has set forth and shewn that he hath
for a Valuable Consideration paid him by a Certain Henry Hooper
of the said County Gentleman Conveyed and made over by a Deed of
bargain and Sale unto the said Henry Hooper a Certain Tract of
Land lying in the said County Called Andertons Point Containing
One hundred and Eight acres Which said Tract of Land by the Last
Will and Testament of John Nicholls late of Dorchester County
deceased Father to the said Isaac Nicolls is Entailed on the Male
Heirs of the said Isaac and for want of such Issue then to Joseph
Nicolls son to the said Deceased John Nicolls and to the male
Heirs of his Body lawfully begotten which said Joseph Nicolls is
now Dead without Male Issue and the said Isaac Nicolls having
Male Issue of his Body humbly Prayed that the Entail of the
said Andertons Point might be Cut off and that one hundred
and Eleven Acres of Land being part of a Tract Called Richard-
sons Choice being of Equal Value might be Entailed in Lieu
thereof and for that it appears that the severall Matters set forth
in the said Isaac's Petition are Just and for that Isaac Nicolls
Junior Son and Heir to the aforesaid Isaac Nicolls hath given his
Consent thereto Be it therefore Enacted by the Right Honourable
the Lord Proprietary by and with the Advice and Consent of his
Lordships Governour and the Upper and Lower Houses of As-
sembly and the Authority of the same that the said Henry Hooper
and his Heirs and Assignes for ever shall by Virtue of this Act and
the Deed of Bargain and Sale of the aforesaid Isaac Nicolls to the
said Henry Hooper be invested with an Indefeazible Estate of
Inheritance in fee Simple of in and into the aforesaid Land called
Andertons Point as fully and amply to all Intents and Purposes as
if the said Nicolls had been invested at the time of such Bargain and
Sale of an Estate of Inheritance in Fee Simple of in and to the said
Andertons Point and that the said One hundred and Eleven Acres
being part of the aforesaid Richardsons Choyce is hereby Entailed in
the same manner and on the same Persons as the said Andertons
Point was Entailed by the Device aforesaid Any Law Usage or Cus-
tom to the Contrary notwithstanding Saving to his most Sacred
Majesty his Heirs and Successors the Right Honourable the Lord
Proprietary his Heirs and Successors and all Bodies Politick and
Corporate and all others not mentioned in this Act their severall and
respective rights
