The thirty-sixth volume of the Archives of Maryland series was published in 1916, with Bernard Christian Steiner as the editor, under the direction of the Maryland Historical Society. This volume covers the Proceedings and Acts of the General Assembly from October 10, 1727 to August 8, 1729. An appendix of statutes, 1714-1726 contains statutes which were not published in earlier volumes. Some of the Calvert Papers from 1729-1732 are also in the appendix.
Liber LL No. 5 was eventually located and the laws that were missing from the other sources were printed in
volume 38 of the Archives of Maryland.
The first digital edition of the Archives of Maryland series is being published by the Maryland State Archives through a grant from the Information Technology Fund of the State of Maryland. As part of an ongoing effort to provide greater access to Maryland Legal History, the Archives will be bringing the printed Archives of Maryland series online and expanding the contents with links to scans of historical documents.
