lately erected, and also all that lott or parcell of ground to
the said Court house belonging as the same is now laid out
lymitted and bounded (that is to say) beginning at a Locust
Post standing by the streete side at the south end of the
Corner Lott of the East Streete and running for length two
hundred foote to another Locust Post, bounding on the East
by a line drawne South One hundred foote to another Locust
Post, bounding on the South by a line drawne West two
hundred foote to another Locust Post, bounding on the West
by a line drawne North One hundred foote to the first named
Post, bounding on the West by west by the said Streete Con-
teyneing in all (be the same more or less)
which said Court house Prison and parcell of Land are
scituate lyeing and being in the towne of New Yarmouth in the
said County of Kent with all and singular Rights priviledges
and appurtences thereto belonging or in any wise appertaine-
ing. To have and to hold the said Court house prison and
parcell of Land with the appurtenances unto the said Charles
Lord Baltemore his heyres and Successors for ever to the vse
intent and purpose hereinafter mentioned and specified (that
Lib. R.
is to say) to the vse and behoofe of his Lspps Justices of the
peace for the said County of Kent successively to be by them
vsed occupied & employed as a house and place of Justice
and Judicature and not otherwayes And the said James
Ringold for himself his heyres and Assigns doth covenant
and grant to and with the said Charles Lord Baltemore his
heyres and Successors that it shall and may be lawfull to and
for the said Charles Lord Baltemore his heyres and Successors
from time to time and at all times hereafter Quietly and
peaceably to hold and enjoy the said Court house and Prison,
and other the premisses with the appurtenances without the
lett trouble or Interruption of him the said James Ringold his
heyres or Assignes or any other person or persons whatso-
ever claymeing by from or undr him them or any of them
And that the said Charles Lord Baltemore his heyres and
successors and every of them shall and may at all times for
Ever hereafter stand and be Seized of the said Court house
Prison and parcell of Land to the vse intent and purpose
herein before mentioned and Declared, and to noe other vse
intent or purpose whatsoever. In Witness &ca

Ordered that a Letter be writt to the Commissioners of
Kent County Court signifyeing to them his Lspps approbation
of the Draught of their conveyance wch is also to be remitted
to them to be executed wch was accordingly done & Inclosed
in the following Letter viz
