A topographical map of the route of a proposed canal and the country between Conewago and Baltimore. Drawn by direction of the canal commissioners by F Lucas Jr.. This map is appended to the Report by the Maryland Commissioners on a proposed canal from Baltimore to Conewago. The commission was directed to lay out and survey a route for a canal from the Susquehanna to Baltimore beginning at Conewago Falls. 1823. MSA SC 1399-1-664 [HFC 323L5]
