Plan A Visit

The Maryland State Archives accepts appointment requests for our public search room Tuesdays through Fridays from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

We also are open the first Saturday of the month from 8:30am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:30pm with a full closure for the lunch hour. While walk-in visits are permitted until we reach capacity, appointments are strongly encouraged. If you need more immediate assistance, please email msa.helpdesk@maryland.gov or call 410-260-6487.
