Hours of Operation

Saturday Services

Beginning with Saturdays in June, the retrieval of genealogical and historical physical records will be limited due to staffing limitations. Patrons will continue to be able to:

  • Work with our reference archivists
  • Retrieve modern court records (divorce decrees, criminal records, etc.) for legal emergencies with advance notice - see details below
  • View searchroom-only records on our public computers
  • Visit the first-floor of our library

Advance Notice for Requesting Records

If you know the modern court record you need pulled and cannot reschedule your Saturday visit, then you must email us at seven to ten business days prior to your visit to ask if the record can be ready for you. Note that even if you visit us Tuesday through Friday, many modern court records are located at an off-site warehouse and must be scheduled to be pulled prior to your visit.

If you know the genealogical or historical record you need pulled and cannot reschedule your Saturday visit, then you must email us at seven to ten business days prior to your visit. Please note: We cannot guarantee that we will be able to have geneological or historical records ready for you at the time of your visit.
