POLITICAL PARTIES

GREEN PARTY

LOCAL CENTRAL COMMITTEES

Local committees (called Greens) are the decision-making and organizing entities of the Maryland Green Party. To be recognized as a local committee of the Party, an organization must have at least three members, hold meetings open to all Party members, and not represent a region or membership greater than could reasonably attend meetings and voice opinions. In counties where two or more local committees exist, these locals may form a confederation to coordinate electoral activity. Confederations also may include more than one county under certain circumstances.
