ADVISORY SCHOOL DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE
Under Board of Education, Advisory School Design Review Committee was authorized in July 2005 and appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (Chapter 598, Acts of 2005).

Abolished in May 2018 (Chapter 615, Acts of 2018).

HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES DIVISION
Renamed Human Resources Division.

SOLID WASTE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Abolished in 2012.

Washington County Economic Development Commission originated as Hagerstown-Washington County Economic Development Commission, and adopted its present name in July 2014.

Goal of Commission was to attract new businesses, and assist in retention and growth of existing businesses. It coordinated its work with public, private and nonprofit agencies to provide resources for businesses in County (County Code, sec. 1-606).

Disbanded in Sept. 2018 and reformed as Washington County Economic Development Coalition.

WATER & SEWER ADVISORY COMMISSION
Abolished in 2012.
