BUILDING CODE REVIEW COMMITTEE

In February 2019, the Building Code Review Committee was authorized by the Board of County Commissioners to assist in the review of the 2018 Building Codes in preparation for local adoption.

BOARD OF [LIQUOR] LICENSE COMMISSIONERS

The Board of License Commissioners regulates the retail sale of alcoholic beverages in Washington County (Code Alcoholic Beverages Article, secs. 31-101 through 31-2803).

In Washington County, the Board's three members are appointed by the Governor with Senate advice and consent to six-year terms. No more than two of those appointed may belong to the same political party (Code Alcoholic Beverages Article, secs. 31-101 through 31-207).
