President, Maryland Association of Counties, 2014- (board of directors, 2008-; legislative committee, 2011-; tax subcommittee, 2011-; secretary, 2011; 2nd vice-president, 2012; 1st vice-president, 2013). Board of Directors, Talbot County Arts Council; Easton Academy of the Arts; American Cancer Society; Izaak Walton League; Talbot Partnership for Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Prevention. Member, Knights of Columbus; Elks Lodge no. 1622; Talbot County Business Round Table; Easton Rotary; Maryland Troopers Association. Past president, Maryland Sheriff's Association. Member, S.S.
