Board submitted its report to County Executive on June 13, 2011.

Blue Ribbon Commission on Addressing Prince George's County Structural Deficit formed in June 2015 (County Council Resolution 26-2015).
Commission was charged with recommending to County Council and County Executive ways to close County's structural deficit, gap between tax revenues and expenditures. Commission studied potential causes of deficit; examined County's budget and spending structure; reviewed policies and practices that impact revenues and tax base; and received comments and suggestions from County citizens.
In January 2017, Commission submitted its final report.

Based on recommendations of Blue Ribbon Commission on Public Safety and Community Relations, Citizen Complaint Oversight Panel in Prince George's County was authorized in 1990 (CB-25-1990).
Panel reviewed complaints made against Police Department, as well as investigations made by Department's Internal Affairs Division of those complaints. From these reviews, recommendations were made to Chief of Police. In addition, Panel issued reports to County's Chief Administrative Officer, and made annual reports to the public.
Appointed by County Executive with County Council consent to four-year terms, seven members constituted Panel. County Executive designated Panel Chair (County Code, secs. 18-186.01 through 18-186.09).
Panel ceased to function on June 30, 2022, just prior to formation of Police Accountability Board on July 1, 2022 (Chapter 59, Acts of 2021).

In July 2020, Food Security Task Force was formed by County Council (County Council Resolution no. CR-062-2020).
Task Force charge was to address issues related to demand and supply of healthy food; areas with limited access to healthy food; food health connections, school meals; and food insecurity in County.
A final report by Task Force was submitted to County Executive and County Council in Dec. 2021.

Twenty-two members constituted Work Group.
In April 2022, Work Group submitted its combined third annual report and final report.

In June 2020, County Executive formed Prince George's Forward Task Force.
Task Force charge was to help guide County’s recovery from coronavirus during and after pandemic.
Under Task Force were five subcommittees: Economic Recovery, Education Recovery, Government Operations, Health Recovery, and Human and Social Services Recovery.
REDISTRICTING COMMISSION 2011
In January 2011, Redistricting Commission was authorized by County Council (County Charter, Article III, sec. 305; County Council Resolution no. CR-2-2011). To develop a plan for Council election districts, County Charter requires that such a commission be established every ten years following federal decennial census.
Commission submitted its plan to County Council in September 2011. Redistricting plan was adopted in 2011 (County Council Resolution no. CB-64-2011).

In January 2021, Redistricting Commission was authorized and appointed by County Council (County Charter, Art. III, sec. 305; County Council Resolution no. CR-006-2021).
Commission submitted its report, a redistricting plan, to County Council on September 1, 2021.
RE-ENTRY ADVISORY BOARD
In July 2019, Re-Entry Advisory Board was created by County Council.
To determine, evaluate, assess, and assist County agencies in implementing a comprehensive Re-Entry Program and re-entry services for persons released from prison, Board established progress reports. These were used to assess effectiveness of every County re-entry-related service. They also were used to evaluate what resources were needed to implement an effective Re-Entry Program and re-entry services that addressed employment, housing, mental health, and faith-based initiatives; develop a model program or systematic processes for serving formerly incarcerated persons before and after incarceration release; and review relevant legislation.
To County Council, Board submitted final report in Nov. 2021.
RESPONSIBLE LEGACY TASK FORCE

Responsible Legacy Task Force was created by County Council in June 2020 (County Council Resolution nos. CR-009-2019, CR-071-2021).
Task Force was to review all County monuments, parks, street names, County buildings, and other places of honor, and create a process to determine future of names linked to a prejudiced past. Task Force worked to ensure that County’s legacy is one of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Nine-member Task Force originally was scheduled to issue an interim report by Dec. 31, 2020, and a final report by June 30, 2021. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, that timeframe was extended, and Task Force submitted its final report Dec. 31, 2021 (County Council Resolution no. CR-071-2021).
