Member, Commission to Study Distribution of Gasoline Tax and Motor Vehicle Revenue Funds between the State Roads Commission and the Political Subdivisions of the State, 1959; Baltimore Metropolitan Area Study Commission, 1961.

Member, Board of County Commissioners, Baltimore County, 1942-54.

Circuit Court Clerk, Baltimore County, 1941-42.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, July 2, 1905. Attended Baltimore Polytechnic Institute; Baltimore City College; The Johns Hopkins University; Walton School of Commerce, Chicago, Illinois. Employed by Baltimore Sun, 1920-24, 1927. Manager, Billing and Order Dept., Locke Insulator Corp. of Baltimore, 1924-27. Assistant Secretary and Treasurer, Baltimore Oil Company. Chief Accountant, Belber Trunk and Bag Company, Woodbury, New Jersey. Manager, Green Spring Valley Hunt Club, Baltimore County, 1933-41. President, Maryland Association of Counties, 1962. Board of Directors, Glyndon Bank, Glyndon, Maryland. President, Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown, 1939-40. Member, Towson Elks Club. Married; four children, four grandchildren. Died in Towson, Maryland, August 22, 1985.
