Member, American Bar Association, 1976-2000; District of Columbia Bar Association; Maryland State Bar Association; Montgomery County Bar Association (executive committee, 1998-2000; secretary, 1983-84; professionalism committee, 1993-99; committee to investigate fairness of reporting; subcommittee on proposed rules of professional conduct). Member, Lawyer Pilots Bar Association; Montgomery Inn of Court (barrister, 1997-2000; bencher, 2000; judicial member, 2001); Lawyer to Lawyer Committee, 1982-2018; District Court Bench Bar Committee; 1999-2000; Bar Leaders. Died in Silver Spring, Maryland, June 27, 2018.
