(nursing), magna cum laude, 1967; Rutgers University, M.A. (American history), magna cum laude, 1977; University of Maryland School of Law, J.D., cum laude, 1986. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1986. Associate, Catterton, Kemp & Mason, 1986-88. Member, Maryland State and Montgomery County Bar Associations; Women's Bar Association of Maryland (president, Montgomery County chapter, 2001-02). Vice-President, Maryland Chapter, National Association of Women Judges, 2003-04. Member, Montgomery Inn of Court. President, Montgomery County Women's Bar Foundation, 2002-. Inducted, Kappa Gamma Pi, National Catholic Women's Honor Society, 1967. Ann Murphy Award for Academic Excellence, Seton Hall University, 1967.
