Police officer, Police Department, Baltimore City, Eastern District, 1997-99; Harford County Sheriff's Office, 2000. Member, Harford County Democratic Central Committee, 2016; Voices of Racial Change. Chair, Police and Community Relations Committee. Football coach and girls' basketball coach, Patterson Mill High School, Bel Air, Maryland. Married; five children.
