In January 2013, the House Speaker convened the Regional Revitalization Work Group.

For the Baltimore Region, the Work Group studied and made recommendations for economic revitalization strategies.

Eleven delegates served on the Work Group.

In January 2019, the House Regional Revitalization Work Group was reorganized as the House Study Group on Economic Stability.
