    And now here at this day to wit the Second Tuesday in June afs.d the sheriff afs.d
Returns to the Court here the Writt afs.d thus Indorsed Vizt       Cepi superseeded
                                                                                           Sam Hanson she and with
the Writt afs.d he Returns the following superseades Vizt


Charles County ss.t    You Henry Haislip Henry Davis and Walter Dodson do Confess Judgment
to Edward Traford Esq.r for the sum of Six Hundred and eighty five pounds of Tobacco which
same was Recovered by the said Edward Trafford against Henry Haislip on the
Twelfth day of March Last in Charles County Court for his Damage as also Two
Hundred and Ninety one Pounds of Tobacco for Costs to be Levied of your Body's Goods
Chattles Lands or Tenements for the use of the said Edward Trafford In Case the said
Henry Haislip shall not Pay and satisfy to the said Edward Trafford the said Six Hund.d
and Eighty five pounds of Tobacco Damage and Two Hundred and Ninety one pounds
of Tobacco Costs so as afs.d Recovered against him with Additional Costs thereon on
the Tenth day of February Next
                                                                   Confessed the 6.th day of June 1747

It was Commanded the sheriff that he should take Henry Davis late of Charles
County Planter if &C.a and him safe keep so that you have his body before the
Justices of the Lord Proprietary of his Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on
the Second Tuesday in June Next to satisfy unto Edward Trafford Esq.r as well the
sum of Eight Hundred fifty one and a half pounds of Tobacco which to the said
Edward in the Court of the said Lord Propry afs.d before the Justices afs.d Were adjudged
for his Damages which he had by occasion of a Certain Promise and Assumption to the
same Edward at Charles County afs.d made and unperformed and also which to the same
Edward of his assent was adjudged for his Damages whereof the said Henry is Convict
and that he should have then and there that Writt &Ca
                                                                                           And now here at this day to
wit the Second Tuesday in June afs.d the sheriff afs.d Returns to the Court thereof here the
Writt afs.d thus indorsed Viz.t Cepi superseaded
