(95) by Discretion of the Justices aforesaid of his assent were adjudged for his Damages which he had by occasion of Detaining the Date & place of the said Edward is Convict and that he should have then and there that Writt &Ca And now here at this day to wit the Second Tuesday in June afs.d the sheriffe aforesaid Returns to the Court here the Writt afs.d thus Indorsed Viz.t Cepi satisfied the Plaintiff Mem.o The Plaintiff Releases the Penalty on payment of Prin.l Sam Hanson She Int Nine pounds Eight shillings & Eleven Pence farthing whole Gold and Damages It was Commanded the Sheriff that he should take Thomas Sanders late of Charles County Planter if &C.a and him safe keep so that you have his body before the Justices of the Lord Propry of his Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in June Next to satisfy unto James Johnson as well the sum of sixty five pounds one shilling and three pence sterling a Certain Debt which the same James in the Court of the said Lord Propry before the Justices afs.d at Charles County afs.d Recovered against the said Thomas as also Four Hundred and Eighty one p.ds of Tobacco which is the same James by Discretion of the Justices afs.d of his assent were adjudged for his Damages which he had by occasion of Detaining that Debt which the said Thomas is Convict and that he should have then and there that Writt &Ca And now here at this day to wit the second Tuesday in June afs.d that the afs.d Returns to the Court here the Writt afs.d thus Indorsed Viz.t Cepi Corpus sat.d the Plf Mem.o the Plf Releases the penalty on paym.t of Nine pounds Eighty Sam Hanson She shillings and Eleven pence farthing whole Gold & Damages It was commanded the sheriff that he should take John Marten Jun late of Charles County Planter otherwise Called if &C.a and him safe keep so that you have his body before the Justices of the Lord Propry of his Next County Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in June Next to satisfy unto Alex.r Macclaran and Jenett his Wife Pray the Testament and Last Will of Peter Mitchell late of said County Deceased as well the sum of four pounds Eleven shillings and Eleven pence half penny barr which to the same Alex.r & Jennett &ca as afs.d in the County of the ^s.d^ Lord Propry aforesaid before the Justices afs.d Were adjudged for his ^their^ Damages which he ^they^ had by a Certain Promise and Assumption to the same John in his Life time at Charles County afs.d made and unperformed as also five Hundred and Seventy four Pounds of Tobacco which to the same Alex.r & Jennett &ca as afs.d of their assent were adjudged for their Costs & Charges by them about their suit on this Part laid out and Expended whereof the said John is Convict &C.a and that he should have then & there that Writt &Ca And Now here at this day to wit the Second Tuesday in June in June afs.d that the aforesaid Returns to the Court here the Writt afs.d thus Indorsed Vizt Cepi satisfied the Plaintiff Sam Hanson She It was commanded the sheriff that he should take Benjamin Gilpin late of Charles County Planter if &c.a and him safe keep so that you have his body before the Justices of the Lord Proprietary of his Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the second Tuesday in June Next to satisfy unto Cornelius Sandford as well the sum of Three Pounds sixteen shillings Currency which to the same Cornelius in the Court of the said Lord Propry afs.d before the Justices afs.d Were adjudged for his Damages which he had by a Certain Promise and Assumption to the same Corn.s at Charles County afs.d made & unperformed as also Two Hundred and fifty five pounds of Tobacco which to the same Corn.s of his assent were adjudged for his Costs & Charges by him about his suit in this (part) |
