(94) June Court Anno Domini 1747 Were adjudged for his Damages Which he had by a Certain Promise & Assumption to the same Thomas at Charles County afs.d made and unperformed as also Three Hundred and forty Two Pounds of Tobacco which to the same Thomas of his Assent were adjudged for his Costs & Charges by him about his suit in this part laid out and Expended whereof the said John is Convict &C.a and that he should have then and there that Writt &C.a And Now here at this day to wit the Second Tuesday in June afs.d the sheriff afs.d Returns to the Court here the Writt afs.d thus Indorsed Vizt Cepi sat.d the plaintiff Sam: Hanson She It was Commanded the sheriff that he should take William Douglass late of Charles County Gentleman if &C.a and him safe keep so that you have his body before our ^the^ Justices of the Lord Proprietary of ^his^ Next County Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in June Next to satisfy Widen [illegible] as well the sum of six pounds Sterling which to the same Widen in the County the Lord Propry afs.d before the Justices afs.d Were adjudged for his Damages which he had by a Certain Promise and Assumption to the same Widen at Charles County afs.d made and performed as also Three Hundred and Two Pounds of Tobacco which to the same Widen of his assent were adjudged for his Costs & Charges by him about his suit in this Part laid out and Expended whereof the said William is Convict &Ca and that he should have then and there that Writt &C.a And Now here at this day to wit the second Tuesday in June afs.d the Sheriff afs.d Returns to the Court here the Writt afs.d thus Indorsed Vizt Cepi Plaintiff Satisfy'd Sam Hanson She It was Commanded the Sheriff that he should take Corn.s Sandford late of Charles County Innholder otherwise Called Corn.s Sandford late of Charles County Gent if &C.a and him safe keep so that you have his body before the Justices of the Lord Proprietary of his Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in June Next to satisfy unto Thomas Morriss and John Delozier as well the sum of seventy six pounds four shillings Currency a Certain Debt which the same Thomas and John In the Court of the said Lord Propry before the Justices afs.d at Charles County afs.d Recovered against the said Corn.s as also Three Hundred and forty Three p.ds of Tobacco which to the same Thomas and John by Discretion of the Justices afs.d of their assent was adjudged for their Damages which they had by occasion of Detaining that Debt whereof the s.d Corn.s is Convict ^&Ca^ & that he should have then & there that Writt &Ca And now here at this day to wit the second Tuesday in June afs.d the Sheriff afs.d Returns to the Court here the Writt afs.d thus Indorsed Viz.t Cepi Corpus Sat.d the plaintiffs Mem.o the plft.s releases the Penalty on payment of Prin.l Sam Hanson She Int & Costs and they also release out of the Prin.l £4..11..0 It was Commanded the sheriff that he should take Edward Sanders late of Charles County Planter if &C.a and him safe keep so that you have his body before the Justices of the Lord Propry of his Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the second Tuesday in June Next to satisfy unto James Johnson as well the sum of sixty five pounds one shilling and Three pence sterling a Certain Debt which the same James In the County of the s.d Edward as also four Hundred & Eighty One Pounds of Tobacco which to the same James (by) |
