Coll George Gent Elizabeth Tarvin and George Tarvin Prefers to the Court here the
following Petition Vizt

To the Worshipfull the Justices of Charles County now in Court in Court sitting
The Petition of George Dent Elizabeth Tarvin & George Tarvin in behalf of themselves
and others whom it may Concern humbly Sheweth


That your Petitioners are Seiz'd of a Tract of Land Call'd Lawrell Branch and
of a Nother Tract Call'd Run a la Venture both Lying in Charles County the
bounds whereof are become Doubtfull wherefore your Petitioners prays that
a Commission may Issue by your Worships Direction Impowering Certain
Persons to Examine Evidence touching the bounds of the said Lands Pursuant
to the Direction of the Act of Assembly in such Case made & Provided and your
Petitioners as in Duty bound will pray

Whereupon it is ordered that Commission Issue Returnable here &C.a to Coll
Robert Hanson Mayor Samuel Hanson Captain William Hanson and Henry
Acton or any Three or Two of them to Examine Evidences touching the bounds of
the said Tracts of Land Agreeable to the Direction of the Act of Assembly in those Cases
late made and Provided


John Mudd Prefers to the Court here the following Petition Vizt

To the Worshipfull the Justices of Charles County Now in Court Sitting the Petition of
John Mudd sheweth
                                     Whereas your Petitioner being Seiz'd of a Tract of Land lying
in Charles County Call'd Carravan humbly prays your Worships to grant a Com.s
to Perpetuate the bounds of the said Land and your Petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray

Whereupon it is ordered that Commission Issue Returnable here &C.a To Captain Allen
Davies Jonathan Willson Edward Burch and John Estep or any three or Two of them
to Examine Evidences touching the bounds of the said Tract of Land Agreeable to the
Directions of the Act of Assembly in those Cases late made & Provided


Coll George Dent Prefers ^to Court^ the following Petition Vizt

To the Worshipfull Justices of Charles County Now setting the Petition of George Dent of
the said County
                                  Humbly Sheweth that your Petitioner is seiz'd of tract of Land Called
Bakers Rest part of another Tract Call'd Bakers Addition Harrisons Gift & some
other Parcels of Land adjoining on the afs.d Tracts which said Lands are lying in
Charles County afs.d and many of the bounds of the said Tracts of Land much Worn
out and Decay'd
