66) March Court Anno Domini 1746 Who being one of the People commonly called Quakers upon his Solemn Affirmation did declare that he Never Received any Part or Parcel of the sum mentioned in the within Bond from the within Bound Cornelius Sandford Wm Middleton And the aforesaid Cornelius Sandford in his proper person Comes & defends the force and Injury when &C.a and prays leave thereof to Imparle until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the second Tuesday in March Next and he has it and same day is given the said Thomas Morriss and John Delozier here &C.a And now here at this day to wit the Second Tuesday in March afs.d Comes as well the said Corn.s in his proper person as the said Thomas & John by their attorney afs.d and the said Thomas & John by their aforesaid pray that the said Cornelius to their Declaration afs.d of them the said Thomas and John does not answer nor the Action afs.d on any wise gainsay whereby the said Thomas & John Remains against the s.d Cornelius Sandford thereupon without Defence It is therefore Considered by the Court here that the said Thomas & John do Recover against the s.d Corn.s their Debt by occasion of the Premises (and which by the Justices of the Court here are assest) to Seventy Six pounds four shillings Currency as also Three Hundred & fifty Pounds of Tobacco for their Costs & Charges by him about their suit in this part laid out and Expended to the same Thomas and John of their Assent by the Court here adjudged and the same Cornelius in Def.t in Mer Mercy &Ca
