(370)               March Court Anno Domini 1747

Comes and defends the force and Injury when &C.a and Prays leave to Imparle
hereto until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday
in March and he hath it and the same day is Given to the same Joseph here &Ca

At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in March afs.d Comes here as well the said
Joseph as the said John by their Attorneys afs.d and the said John by the said Attorney
Prays further leave to Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town
on the Second Tuesday in June and he hath it and the same day is given to the same
Joseph here &Ca
                                  At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in June afs.d Comes here
as well the said Joseph as the said John by their Attorneys afs.d and the said John by
his said attorney Prays further leave to Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden
at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in August and he hath it and the same day is
given to the same Joseph here &Ca
                                                   At which day to wit the second Tuesday in August afs.d
Comes here as well the said Joseph as the said John by their attorneys afs.d and the said John
by his said Attorney Prays further lave to Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden at
Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in November and he hath it and the same day is
given to the same Joseph here &Ca
                                                      At which day to wit the second Tuesday in November afs.d
Comes here as well the said Joseph as the said John by their Attorneys afs.d and the said John
by his said Attorney Prays further leave to Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden
at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in March and he hath it and the same day is given
to the same Joseph here &Ca
                                                    And now here at this day to wit the second Tuesday in
March afs.d Came here as well the said Joseph as the said John by their attorneys afs.d
and the said John by his said attorney Comes & defends the force and Injury when &Ca

Whereupon all and Singular the Premises being by the Court here (according
to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in such Cases late made and Provided fully seen
heard and understood) and due Deliberation thereupon had   It is adjudged and decreed
that the said Joseph Recover against the said John as well the sum of Three pounds Ten
shillings and four Pence Currency for his Damages afs.d as also the sum of
                                                 Pounds of Tobacco for his Costs and Charges by him about
Def.t in mea   his suit in this Part laid out and Expended and the said John in Mercy &C.a

Judgment for Plaintiff

This being an Action Brought by the aforesaid James against the aforesaid Thomas
for the Recovery of Damages by the said James sustained by Reason of a Certain
Trespass Assault and Battery by the said Thomas on him the said James made
and done against the peice &C.a  The said Thomas was by Virtue of a Capias
Ad Respondendum Returnable before his Lordships County Court on the Second
Tuesday in November in the year of our Lord Seventeen Hundred and forty six arrested

And the said Thomas by Henry Darnall his attorney Comes and defends the
force and Injury when &C.a and prays leave to Imparle hereto until the Next
Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in March and he hath
it and the same day is given to the same James here &Ca
                                                                              At which day to wit the Second
Tuesday in March afs.d Comes here as well the said James as the said Thomas by
their attorneys afs.d and the said Thomas by his said attorney Prays further leave to
Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the second
