(362) March Court Anno Domini 1747 Whereupon the said Henry was by Virtue of a Capias Ad Respondendum Returnable before his Lordships County Court on the Second Tuesday in November in the year of our Lord Seventeen Hundred and forty Six Arrested And the said Henry by Philip Key his attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury when &C.a and prays leave to Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in March and he hath it and the same day is given to the same Corn.s Sandford here &Ca At which day to wit the second Tuesday in March afs.d Comes here as well the said Cornelius as the said Henry by their attorneys afs.d and the said Henry by his said attorney Prays further leave to Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in June and he hath it and the same day is given to the same Cornelius here &Ca At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in June aforesaid Comes here as well the said Cornelius as the said Henry by their attorneys afs.d and the said Henry by his said attorney Prays further leave to Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in August and he hath it and the same day is given to the same Cornelius here &Ca At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in August afs.d Comes here as well the said Cornelius as the said Henry by their attorneys afs.d and the said Henry by his said attorney Prays further leave to Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in November and he hath it and the same day is given to the same Cornelius here &Ca At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in November afs.d Comes here as well the said Cornelius as the said Henry by their attorneys afs.d and the said Henry by his said Attorney Prays further leave to Imparle here to until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in March and he hath it and the same day is given to the same Cornelius here &Ca And now here at this day to wit the second Tuesday in March afs.d Comes here as well the said Cornelius by his attorney afs.d as the said Henry by his attorney afs.d and the s.d Henry by his said attorney Comes and defends the force and Injury when &Ca Whereupon all and singular the Premises being by the Court here (according to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in such Cases late made and Provided fully seen heard and understood) and due Deliberation thereupon had It is Adjudged and Decreed that the said Cornelius Recover against the said Henry as well the sum of Nine Pounds five shillings Currency for his Damages afs.d as also the sum of Two Hundred Ninety pounds & one half Pounds of Tobacco for his Costs and Charges by him about his suit In this Part laid out and Expended Def.t in mea and the said Henry in Mercy &Ca
This being an action upon the Case for the Recovery of Ten pounds Currency due on a Note to the said Edward from the said Thomas Whereupon the s.d Thomas was by Virtue of a Capias Ad Respondendum Returnable before his Lordsp.s County Court on the Second Tuesday in November in the year of our Lord one Thous.d Seven Hundred and forty six arrested and then and there appearing It was by Thomas Clark his attorney for the said Edward Trafford Esq.r Prayed that the said Thomas Cawood Might give Special bail (Whereupon) |
