March Court Anno Domini 1747 1742 M.r Joseph Allen D.r
On the 12.th day of March 1746 The Book of Acc.ts from which the above Account is duely Copied was produced to me which appears to be proved by the oath of W.m Beaty Merchant before M.r John Winter according to Law Certifyd by Rob Yates Whereupon into Court here in his Proper Person Comes Thomas [illegible] of Cha.s County Planter & becomes pledge and security for the said Joseph that if it should happen that the afs.d Joseph in the plea afs.d should be Convict that then the said Thomas Yeilded and Granted that as well the Damages afs.d and Costs which to the same Geo & Com in this should be adjudged of his Lands & Chattles should be made and Levied to and for the use of the said George & Com If it should happen the s.d Joseph the Damages & Costs afs.d to the said George and Com should not pay or his body in to the Custody of the sheriff by Reason thereof Render And the said Joseph by Thomas Clark his Attorney Comes and defends the force & Injury when &C.a and prays leave to Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in March & he hath it & the same day is given to the same Geo & Com here &Ca (At) |
