               vs
          Jeremiah Aderton
Debt on Judgment Bond
Judgment p Nildicit

Charles County ss.t  Jeremiah Aderton late of Charles County in the
province of Maryland Innholder otherwise Called Jeremiah Aderton of
Charles County in the province afs.d Innholder was summoned to answer
John Fitz of Dorchester County in the province afs.d Merchant of a plea that
he Render unto him the full and Just sum of Fifty Five pounds Eleven
shillings and six pence Current Money of the province afs.d which to him
he Owes and Unjustly detains and so forth

    And Whereupon the said John by Henry Darnall his attorney saith
that whereas the said Jeremiah on the Sixth day of November In the year of our Lord one
Thousand seven Hundred and forty six at Charles County afs.d by his Certain
Writing obligatory sealed with the seal of him the said Jeremiah sealed and herein
Court produced whose date is the day and year afs.d Acknowledged himself to be
held and firmly Bound unto the said John In the sum of Fifty five pounds Eleven
shillings and six pence Current money as afs.d to the said John when thereunto
afterwards he should be Requested   Nevertheless the afs.d Jeremiah often Requested
the said sum of Fifty five pounds Eleven shillings and six pence Current money
as afs.d or any part thereof to him the said John to pay or in any sort to Content hath
hitherto altogether Refused and still doth Refuse to the Damage of him the said John
one Hundred pounds & Three shillings Current money as afs.d and therefore suit is
brought and so forth                                                                                 John Doe

And the afs.d Jeremiah Aderton by Philip Key his attorney Comes & defends the
force and Injury when &C.a and prays a hearing of the Writing obligatory and it is Read
unto him he also prays a hearing of the Condition of the same Writing and it is
Read unto him in these Words Viz.t
                                                          The Condition of the above obligation is
such that if the above bound Jeremiah Aderton his Heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs do or shall
well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the above Names John Fitz his
Certain Attorney Ex.rs Adm.rs or assigns the full and Just sum of Twenty Seven
Pounds Fifteen shillings and Nine pence Current money afs.d then the above
obligation to be Void and of no Effect or Else to Remain in full force and Virtue in Law
But if default be made in the payment of the above sum of Twenty seven pounds
fifteen shillings & Nine pence Money afs.d or any part thereof then I Impower any
Attorney Practising the same in any Court of Record in the Realms of great Britain
France Ireland within the Province of Maryland or other his Majesties
Dominions to appear for me at the suit of the above Mentioned John Fitz and to
Receive a Declaration on the above obligation & thereupon to Confess Judgment by
Nildicit Cognovit Actionem Nonsum Informatus or otherwise Releasing all
the Errors that may happen upon the said Judgment Suing out Execution thereupon
or in any of the proceedings thereunto Relating
