(222)       November Court Anno Domini 1747

his Costs and Charges by him about his suit in this part laid out and
Expended whereof the said Robert is Convict and that he should have then &
there that Writt &Ca

                               And now here at this day to wit the second Tuesday in Nov.r
aforesaid the sheriff aforesaid Returns to the Court here the Writt afs.d thus Indorsed
Vizt                           Cepi Superseeded
                                                                         Thomas Hungerford She and
with the Writt afs.d he Returns to the Court here the following superseedes Viz.t

You Robert Minion Theophilus Swift and Robert Franklin do Confess
Judgment to William Neale for the sum of Two Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty
one pounds of Tobacco Damage and Three Hundred and Eighty five pounds of
Tobacco Cost which sums were Recovered by the said William Neale against
Robert Minion on the 11.th Day of August in Charles County Court the said sums
of Two Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty one pounds of Tobacco Damage and
Three Hundred and Eighty five pounds of Tobacco Costs to be levy'd of your bodys Goods
or Chattles Lands or Tenements for the use of the said William Neale in Case the s.d
Robert Minion shall not pay as satisfie to the said William Neale the sum of
Two Thousand one Hundred Eighty five pounds of Tobacco Damages & Three
Hundred Eighty five pounds of Tobacco Costs so as afs.d Recovered against him
with additional Costs thereon on the Tenth day of February Next

It was Commanded the sheriff that he should take Alexander Semmes late of Charles
County Blacksmith otherwise Called Alexander Semmes of Charles County in the province
of Maryland Blacksmith if &C.a and him safe keep so that he should have his body
before the Justices of the Lord Proprietary of his Next County Court to be held at Charles
Town on the second Tuesday in November Next to satisfie unto Samuel Chunn of
the same parts planter as well the sum of Three Thousand Two Hundred pounds of Tobacco
a Certain Debt which the same Samuel in the Court of the said Lord Proprietary before the
Justices afs.d at Charles County afs.d Recovered against the said Alexander as also Two
Hundred and Eighty one pounds of Tobacco which to the same Samuel by Discretion of
the Justices afs.d were adjudged for his Damages which he had by occasion of Detaining
that Debt whereof the said Alexander is Convict and that he should have then &
there that Writt &Ca
                                                 And now here at this day to wit the second Tuesday in
November afs.d the sheriff aforesaid Returns to the Court here the Writt afs.d thus
Indorsed Vizt                  Cepi Corpus Superseded               Sam: Hanson She and with
the Writt afs.d he Returns the following supersedeas Vizt
