You Alexander Simms John Cole & Thomas Beale do Confess Judgment to Samuel
Chunn for the sum of Eight Hundred and forty nine pounds of Tob.o which sum
was Recovered by the said Samuel Chunn against the said Alexander Simms on
the second Tuesday in august in Charles County Court the said sum of Eight Hund.d
and forty nine pounds of Tobacco to be levied of your Bodies Goods and Chattles Lands
and Tenements for the use of the said Samuel Chunn in Case the said Alex.r Simms
shall not pay and satisfie to the said Samuel Chunn the said sum of Eight Hundred
and forty Nine pounds of Tobacco so as aforesaid Recovered against him with the
additional Costs thereon on the Twentyeth day of February Next
                                  taken and acknowledged the 29.th aug.st 1747

It was Commanded the sheriff that he should take Patrick M.cQuid
late of Charles County Gent otherwise Called Patrick McQuid of Charles Coty
if &C.a and him safe keep so that he should have his body before the Justices of the
Lord Proprietary of his Next County Court to be holden at Charles Town on the
Second Tuesday in November Next to satisfie unto Mess.rs Daniel Stephenson &
Henry Steel Merchants in Whitehaven as well the sum of Three Thousand p.ds of
Sound Merchantable Leaf Tobacco Convenient in Charles County a Certain Debt
which the same Stephenson & Steel lately in the County of the said Lord Proprietary
before the Justices afs.d at Charles County afs.d Recovered against the said Patrick
as also Two Hundred and Eighty one pounds of Tobacco which to the same
Stephenson & Steel by Discretion of the Justices afs.d were adjudged for his Damages
which they had by occasion of Detaining that Debt whereof the said Patrick is Convict
and that he should have then and there that Writt &Ca
                                                                                        And now here at this
day to wit the second Tuesday in November afs.d the sheriff afs.d Returns to the Court
here the Writt afs.d thus Indorsed Viz.t
