Judgment p Cognovit Actionem

It was Commanded the sheriff that he should take James Livers late of Cha.s
County Joyner if &C.a and him safe keep so that he should have his body before
the Justices of the Lord Proprietary of his Next County Court to be holden at
Charles Town on the second Tuesday in November Next to answer unto
Edward Sanders of a plea of Trespass upon the Case and that he should have
then and there that Writt &Ca
                                                 At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in
November afs.d Comes the said Edward by Jeremiah Chase by his attorney
and offers himself against the said James and the sheriff afs.d Namely Samuel
Hanson Gent Returns to the Court here that he has taken the body of the said
James Livers

                               And the aforesaid James by Henry Darnall his att.y
Comes and defends the force and Injury when &C.a and prays leave thereof to
Imparle here to until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second
Tuesday in March Next and he hath it and the same day is given to the same
Edward here &Ca
                               At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in Merch afs.d Comes here
as well the said Edward as the said James by their Attorneys aforesaid and the said
James by his said attorney prays further Licence to Imparle hereto until the Next
Court to be holden at Charles Town on the second Tuesday in June Next and he hath it
and the same day is given to the same Edward here &Ca

                               At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in June afs.d Comes here
as well the said Edward as the said James by their attorney aforesaid and the s.d
James by his said attorney prays further Licence to Imparle hereto until the Next
Court to be holden at Charles Town on the second Tuesday in August next
and he hath it and the same day is given to the same Edward here &Ca

                            At which day to wit the second Tuesday in August afs.d Comes
here as well the said Edward as the said James by their attorneys afs.d and the said
James by his said attorney prays further Licence to Imparle hereto until the Next
Court to be holden at Charles Town on the second Tuesday in November Next and he
hath it and the same day is given to the same Edward here &Ca

                         And now here at this day to wit the second Tuesday in November afs.d
Comes as well the said Edward Sanders by his attorney afs.d as the said James Livers
by his attorney afs.d and the said James by his said attorney Comes and defends the
force and Injury when &C.a and says that he Cannot deny the Action afs.d of him
the said Edward nor but that he did Assume upon himself In manner and
