               November Court Anno Domini 1747                                                  (209)

To ^them^ the said Mess.rs Tubmans & Hartley in this part should be adjudged of his
Lands & Chattles should be made and Levied to and for the Use of the said Tubmans
and Hartley that if it should happen that the said James the Damages & Costs
afs.d to the said Tubmans & Hartley should not pay or his body into the Custody
of the sheriff by Reason thereof Render

And the afs.d James by Jeremiah Chase his attorney Comes and defends
the force and Injury when &C.a and prays Leave thereof to Imparle hereto
until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Nov.r
Next and he hath it and the same day is given to the same Tubmans & Hartley
&Ca

                      At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in November afs.d
Comes here as well the said Tubmans & Hartley ^as the said James^ by their Attorneys afs.d &
the said James by his said attorney prays further Leave to Imparle ^here^ to
until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the Second Tuesday
in March Next and he has it and the same day is given to the same Tubmans
& Hartley here &Ca

                                              At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in
March afs.d Comes here as well the said Tubmans & Hartley as the said Ja.s
by their attorneys afs.d and the said James by his said attorney prays further
Leave to Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on
the Second Tuesday in June Next and he has It and the same day is given to
the same Tubmans & Hartley here &C.a

                                                                  At which day to wit the Second
Tuesday in June afs.d Comes here as well the said Tubmans & Hartley as the said Ja.s
by their attorneys afs.d and the said James by his said attorney prays further Leave to
Imparle hereto until the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on the second Tuesday
in August Next and he has it and the same day is given to the same Tubmans &
Hartley here &Ca

                                        At which day to wit the Second Tuesday in Aug.st
aforesaid Comes here as well the said Tubmans & Hartley as the said James
by their attorneys afs.d and the said James by his said attorney prays further
Leave to Imparle here to untill the Next Court to be holden at Charles Town on
the Second Tuesday in November Next and he has it and the same day is given
to the same Tubmans & Hartley here &Ca
