14)             March Court Anno Dom 1746

Company with Henry Davis Henry Woodyard and John Delozier

                               Thereupon the said Robert Haislip
Present herein Court in his Proper person being asked Either
He be Guilty of the Trespass and breach of peace afsd soon him
Imposed saith that he is in no wise thereof Guilty but for that
He will not Contend with his Lordship the Lord Proprietary
In this part Humbly Submits himself to the Court

                          Therefore it is Considered that the afsd
Robert Haislip be find the sum of forty Shillings Current money
For the offence afsd by the Court here adjudged and that the said
Robert be taken &C.a                     Whereupon into Court here in
His Proper person Comes Bayne Smallwood of ^Charles County Gent^ and becomes Pledge
And Security for the afsd Robert Haislip to pay the fine afsd
And also the severall fees arisen due to the officers and ministers
of the Court her by Occasion of the Premises

                            Ruled that the said Robert Haislip
Recognize in the sum of Twenty Pounds Current Money
with Sufficient Security in the sum of Ten ^pound^ like money for his good
Behaviour at the next County Court to be here holden on the Second Tuesday
In June next                     Thereupon Into Court here in his proper
Person Comes the afsd Robert Haislip of Charles County Planter and
Bayne Smallwood of Charles County Gent and acknowledged them
selves to owe and stand Justly Indebted to the Right Honourable the
Lord Proprietary that is to say the said Robert In the sum of Twenty
Pounds Current money and the said William In the sum of Ten
Pounds like Money which sums they and Each of them severally yielded
And Granted Should and might be Levied on their and Each of their
Goods and Chattells Lands and Tenements to and for the use of his
Said Lordship his heirs and successors

                               The Condition of which Recognizance is
That if the above bounden Robert Haislip shall Personally
Appear at the next County Court is be holden for this County to do
And Receive what Shall be then and there Enjoyned him by the said
Court and in the mean time that he be of good behaviour towards
                                                                                     to (wards)
