                        This is to Certifie that the above account is a true Copy taken of the Books of
                         Falkner & Company proved in time according to Law Witness my hand this
                         9.th June 1747

And the aforesaid Cornelius Sandford in his proper ^Person^ Comes & defends the force and
Injury when &C.a and prays Leave thereof to Imparle untill the Next Court to be holden at
Charles Town on the Second Tuesday in June Next and he has it and same day is given the said
Muschett & Company here &C.a

    Corn.s Sandford in his proper person as the s.d    And now here at this day to wit the Second Tuesday
in June afs.d Comes as well the said Muschett & Company by their attorney afs.d pray that the s.d
Cornelius to their Declaration aforesaid against him may answer and because the said
Cornelius to the Declaration afs.d of them the said Muschett & Com does not answer nor the
action afs.d in any wise gainsay whereby the said Muschett & Com Remains against the s.d
Cornelius Sandford thereupon without Defence
                                                                            It is therefore Considered by the Court here that
the said Muschett & Company do Recover against the said Cornelius the Damages by
Occasion of the Premises and which by the Justices of the Court here are assist to Thirteen
Pounds fifteen shillings Currency as also Two Hundred & Twenty Seven pounds of Tobacco
for his Costs & Charges by him about his Suit in this Part laid out and Expended to the same
Muschett & Com of their assent by the Court here adjudged and the same Corn.s Sandford in
Def.t in Mer   Mercy &Ca

Charles County sst  Jeremiah Adderton late of Charles County Innholder was
                               attached to answer unto John Muschett & Company of a plea of
                               Trespass upon the Case &C.a

    And Whereupon the said John & Com by Jeremiah Chase their attorney
Complain for that Whereas the said Jeremiah on the Twenty Nineth day of May
In the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and forty Six at Charles Co.ty
was Indebted unto the said John & Com In the sum of Nine pounds Currency for divers
Particulars lying Properly in Account as by a Particular account thereof herew.th
