          August Court                        1740                          7

    The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the Commisory Genll hath transmitted unto this Court
the Account of the estate of Thomas Adams dec.d wherein it is found that there is Ballance due to the above said orphans the
sum of twenty seven pounds and four pence half peny Current money therefore if the above said Moses Owen Jonatham Sumers &
George Adams their or either of their heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs shall and do well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the above
said Orphans the af.d Sum of twenty Seven pounds and four pence half penny Current money in equal parts and portions According
to Act of Assembly when they shall arrive at full age to receive the same &.c  Then the above obligation to be void and of none effect

In Maryland
 Know all men by these presents that we Mary Dabel
Al.s Hall Richard Chambers and Solomon Long all of Somerset
County in the province af.d are holden and firmly bound unto Chambers Hall Rhode Hall and Asa
Hall Orphans of Alex.a Hall dec.d in the full and just sum of Seventy seven pounds two Shillings
and nine pence Currt money to be paid unto the said Chambers Hall Rhode Hall and Asa Hall
Orphans of Alex.a Hall their heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs of assigns to the which payment well and truely
to be made and done we bind our selves our and either of our heirs Executors and Administrators
for the whole and in the whole Jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals
and dated this 20.th day of August Anno Dom 1740

pence half penny Currt money therefore if the abovesaid Mary Dabal Al.s Hall Rich.d Chambers and
Solomon Long they or any of their heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs shall and do well and truely pay or Cause to be
paid unto the abovesaid Orphans the af.d sum of thirty eight pounds eleven shillings and four
pence half penny Currt money in equall parts and portions according to act of assembly when they
shall arrive at full age to receive the same &.a  Then the above obligation to be void and of
none effect otherwise to remain in full force and very vertue in Law                 her
