six shillings halfe penny to be paid unto the said Martha Joseph Perkins and Dorothy Vennableses their heir Ex.rs Admrs or assignes to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind our selves our and either of our heirs Ex.rs and Admrs for the whole and In the whole Jointly and Severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 18th day of March Anno Dom 1740 The Condition of the above Obligation is such that whereas the Commissary Genll hath transmitted unto this Court the Accot of the estate of William Vennables dec.d wherein it is found that there is ballance due to the above said Orphans the sum of twenty nine pounds and three shillings one farthing therefore if the abovesaid Katherine Vennables William Venables and George Hardy they or any of their heirs Exrs Admrs shall and do well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the above said orphans the af.d sum of twenty nine pounds and three shillings one farthing in Equall parts and portions According to Act of Assembly when they shall arrive at full age to Receive the same &c then the above obligation to be void and of none Effect otherwise to Remain in full force and vertue in Law her Signed Sealed & Katherine K Venables (seal) delivered in presence of mark Pob.t Jones W.m Venables (seal) Joshua Merrill George Hardy (seal) Hugh Rimmor appears here in Court according to his Recognizance to give Evidence on behalfe of his Lordships against Ann Clark and Patrick Connelly and is discharged therefrom &a Robert Givan appears here in Court according to his Recognizance Entered into for his appearance at this Court to give Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship against Patrick Connelly and is discharged therefrom &a Ann Richardson appears herein Court according to her Recognizance entered into for her Recognizance entered into for her appearance at this Court to give Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship against Patrick Connelly and is discharged therefrom &a
said Lord proprietary his Justices of the same County court and for the same Lord proprietary doth give the Justices here to understand and be Informed that Sarah Low Late of Stepney parish in the County of Somerset the twentyth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty at the parish af.d in the County af.d and within the Jurisdiction of this Court did Comit fornication with a Certain person unknown and did permit the same unknown person then and there to have Carnall knowledge of her body and then and there to beget a Bastard Child on the body of her the same Sarah to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the Evill Example of all others in such Case |
