Ruth Willet
Somerset County sst    The Jurors for the Right Honourable the Lord proprietary that now is for the
body of Somerset County af.d upon their Oath do present that Ruth Willet wife of Ambrose Willet late of
Alhallows parish in the said County of Somerset planter the fifteenth day of November in the year of our
Lord God Seventeen hundred and forty with force and arms &c at the parish af.d in the County af.d withithin the Jurisdiction
of this Court in and upon a Certain Shaderick Claywell in the peace of God and the said Lord proprietary that now is then and
there being an Assault did make and him the said Shaderick then and there old beat wound and evilly treat so that of his life
it was greatly dispaired and other harms to the same Shaderick then and there did to the Grievous Damage of him the said
Shaderick and Contrary to the peace of the right Honourable the Lord proprietary that now is hid good rule and Government
Testes  Peter Claywell Jr  Shaderick Claywell            On the foregoeing bill of Indictment it was thus Indorsed   Ignoramus
    Alex.a Leckie foreman

body of Somerset County af.d upon their Oath do present that William Knowles late of Stepney parish
in the said County of Somerset Gunsmith the twenty third day of September in the year of our Lord God
Seventeen hundred and forty with force and arms &c at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court
in and upon a Certain John Tomson in the peace of God and the said Lord proprietary that now is then and there being an assault
did make and him the said John then and there did beat with a Gun Shoot wound and evilly treat so that of his life it was Greatly
dispaired and other harms to the same John then and there did to the Grievous damage of him the said John and Contrary to
the peace of the Right Honourable the Lord proprietary that now is his good rule and Goverment
Testis Tho.s Gilliss         On the foregoeing bill of Indictment it was thus Indorsed      Ignoramus Alex.a Lackie foreman

                                             Be it Remembred that Robert Jenckins
Henry Gent Attorney of the right Honourable the Lord Proprietary that now
is who for the same Lord Proprietary in this part prosecuteth doth COme here into the County Court of the
same Lord Proprietary held for Somerset County af.d to witt at dividing Creek in the same County
the twentieth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty before Robert
Esq.r and his associates the said Lord Proprietary his Justices of the same County Court and for the same Lord
Proprietary doth give the Court here to understand and be Informed that Henry Tomlinson Late of Coventry
Parish in the said County of Somerset Chirugion the                      day of                in the year of our Lord
one thousand seven hundred and                  at the Parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this
Court did Comit fornication with a Certain Ann Colebourn and of her body then and there had Carnal knowledge
and a Bastard Child on the body of her the same Ann then and there did beget to the high displeasure of
