upon deleware the twenty eighth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty nine with force and Arms as Rioters and Routers and disturbers of the peace of the said Lord Proprietary that now is themselves to disturb the peace of the said Lord Proprietary at the house of John Watson on the south side of Indian ^River^ within the Parish of All Hallows and Jurisdiction of the said County of Somerset from the first Establishment within the Province of maryland Riotously Routously and unlawfully did assembly and gather together and so Assembled and gathered together being under Pretence of Process Issueing from the Government or territories of Pensilvania in and upon a Certain Bryan Hughs in the peace of God and the same Lord Proprietary at All Hallows parish in the said County of Somerset being an assault they did make and him the said Bryan then and there Arrest Imprison and evilly treat and the said Bryan so Arrested ^and^ Imprisoned being under the pretence and Colour af.d with force and arms from the said Parish of All hallows in the County of Somerset the same day and year af.d from Somerset County af.d Violently and unlawfully did Carry and other Enormitys to him the said Bryan at Somerset County af.d did to the great damage of him the said Bryan and Contrary ^to^ the peace of the said Lord Proprietary that now is his good rule and Government &.a Testes John Watson Jean Watson Bryan Hughs Nicholas Furlow On the foregoing Bill of Indictment it is endorsed Billa Vera J Elsey foreman
Planter the thirteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty with force and arms &.a at the parish af.d in the County af.d one Beaver Hat of the value of four hundred pounds of tobacco One Blew Camblet Coat of the value of five hundred pounds of tobacco and One pair of mens Gloves of the value of fifty Pounds of tobacco of the goods and Chattles of a Certain James Hogg then and there being found then and there feloniously did steal take and bear away Contrary ^to the peace^ of the said Lord Proprietary that now is his good rule and Government and against the form of the Act of assembly in such case thereof lately made and provided &.a Testes James Hogg Alexander Lunch W.m Wyat On the foregoing Bill of Indictment it is endorsed Ignoramus Alex.r Lackie foreman |
