be quite blind for he for some Years Last past at some times Cannot find the way (without feeling) out of doors and more especially being taken sick some time in January Last and for the most part since remains so to this day which sickness your petitioner verily beleives and by daily Observation and Tryalls does find has soe Obstructed the sight of his best eye that he in a manner at some times is quite blind which together with his age and sickness renders him uncapable of being of Little or noe use to your petitioner who humbly prays your worships will be pleased to take it into Your Consideration and set him tax free and your petitioner shall ever pray The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood It is Considered by the Justices here that the afd negro man of the aforesaid John Gunby be fore the future tax free as by the petition aforesaid is praid &c
