for a Commission
To the worshipfull Court now Sitting the Humbly petition of Powell Patey Humbly Sheweth that Whereas

Your petitioner is possessed of a tract of Land Called Browns Indeavour the Bounder whereof is precarious
and decayed Humbly prays that Your worships would appoint Commissioners to Examine Evidences in Relation to the
Same and as in Duty bound shall ever pray

                The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood and mature deliberation thereupon had wherefore
it is Considered that a Commission Issue to the aforesaid Powell Patey as by the petition aforesaid is praid and
that John Miller William Fasit Joseph Gray and John Evans of Coys Folley all of Somerset County Gent be Commissioners
and Execute the Same Commission according to act of assembly in Such Case made and provided &a

          To the Worshipfull Justices of Sommerset County Court now Sitting The petition of John Aydelott
Junior most humbly sheweth        That whereas your petitioner about four Year agoe by accident
Received a hurt in One of his feet of which he is Lame and Rendered Incapable of Labouring to Support himselfe
and family and hath been at Great Expence with physitions and nothing Bettered but Rather the worse Your petitioner
therefore humbly beggs that Your worships would release him from paying publick Taxes and Your petitioner as in duty
bound shall ever pray
                                                 The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood   It is Considered
by the Justices here that the aforesaid John Aydelott Jun.r be discharged from paying of Taxes of untill pleas
God to Restore to ability of body to Labour againe &.a  and allowed One pounds of tobacco p year &a

to be Tax free

          The Humble petition of Sarah Howard  To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset
County Court now Sitting     Whereas your petitioner having two negro's Sixty Years of
       age Each of them or upwards to witt Kent and Bess having paid Taxes for them near Twenty five Years they Have for the
to or three Years Last past been much afflicted with Sickness and paines and Continues so at times which makes them
uncapable of doeing but Little Service for me for the Support of them hoping Your worships will take it into Consideration
by making them tax free which will better Enable me to maintain them and Your petitioner will be in duty
bound to pray
                                  The petition aforesaid being Read and heard and fully understood   It is Considered by the
Court here that the aforesaid Sarah Howard be discharged from paying of Taxes for the aforesaid negro's Called Kent &
Bess ^for^ as the future as by the petition aforesaid is praid &a
