314 Covenants aforesaid Thereupon the said George Mckenie present herein Court in his proper person together with John Anderson of the Same place planter his security acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the said David Oday in ten pounds Currant ^money^ of Maryland of their bodies goods and Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to be made and Levied to the Use of the said David Oday his heirs and assigns If it happen that the said George Mackenie doe not during the term aforesaid Learn the said David Oday to Read write and Cypher as far as the Rule of division Inclusive and doe not at the Expiration of his Servitude the give him a new Suit of Cloaths over and above his Common wearing Cloaths and doe not provide for the said David meat drink washing Lodgeing and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an apprentice to have and wear during the term afd &c Ordered that Samuel Tull's account of attendance trouble accommodations and Other necessarys against a Certain Elizabeth Accres an Object of Charity amounting to Twelve pounds One Shilling and Ten pence halfe penny be allowed of and Levied the next Levy Court &a
&a Whereupon the said James Furnace orphan afd Makes Choice of the aforesaid James Furnace the Elder as his guardian accordingly &.a Whereupon a Certain Isaac Holland of Sommerset County planter ^is ordered to^ deliver up unto the aforesaid James Furnace the aforesaid Guardian all the Estate of the aforesaid James Furnace the Orphan that he hath in his hands and possession both Reall and personall of what Kind soever and that the aforesaid Guardian Receive the Same and further the aforesaid James Furnace the afd Guardian is Ordered to give good security to Comply with the aforesaid Guardian Ship according to Law &a Thereupon the said James Furnace Guardian as aforesaid together with Nehemiah Dorman and John Maddox of Sommerset County planters his Securitys all present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the said James Furnace the Orphan afd in Sixty pounds Currant money of Maryland of their bodies goods or Chattells Lands or tenements Joyntly or Severally to be made and Levied to the Use of the said James Furnace the aforesaid Orphan his heirs Executors Administrators or assignes If it happen that the aforesaid James Furnace the aforesaid Guardian do not Comply with the Law in Relation to Such Guardian Ships aforesaid and doe not deliver up unto the said Orphan or his Guardian or Guardians all the Estate of the aforesaid Orphan Both Reall and personall that he Shall take into his hands and possession peaceably and quietly when Ever the Same Should be Legally Required &c |
